After much anticipation, Egger’s Ice Cream Parlor, a Staten Island tradition since 1932, plans to reopen their “Winter Wonderland” Igloos on Thursday, December 1st at scenic Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden- 1000 Richmond Terrace along Cottage Row.

Fans of Egger’s have been asking for the igloo experience since the conclusion of last year, with many trying to guess where the next pop-up location would be. Owner Danielle Raleigh promises a “truly magical experience” stating “This year’s igloos will be as charming as ever, with something for everyone in the family that they won’t soon forget.”

“The holiday season will be extra sweet at Snug Harbor, thanks to Eggers and the delicious experience they’ll provide,” said Jessica Vodoor, President & CEO of Snug Harbor. “We’re proud to host them on campus and excited to invite our community to get cozy and make new memories in these festive igloos.”

The Festive Winter Wonderland experience allows families to reserve an igloo for one hour where they can enjoy hot cocoa, ice cream, assorted treats, and more. Families are then invited into the “North Pole”, where a craft can be made, as well as a photo opportunity with Santa. Every patron dining in the igloo is welcome into the North Pole.

Loyal customer Casey Mustoe said, “The Igloos at Eggers has quickly become my family’s favorite holiday tradition! Eggers has truly captured the spirit of the holidays, with their warm hot chocolate, yummy ice cream and magical decorations!”

A total of eight customized igloos will be available for ‘indoor’ dining by reservation next month. Customers can reserve their igloos online at today. About Egger’s Ice Cream: Egger's Homemade Ice Cream Parlor opened in 1932 on Castleton Avenue and Broadway next to the Capital movie theater.
