Families and Folk Art: Found Materials & Art Environments
Families and Folk Art introduces children ages 4 to 12 and their accompanying adults to folk art through interactive discussion-based tours in the galleries followed by hands-on artmaking activities inspired by objects in the museum. Space is limited; registration required. In this workshop, participants will discuss some of the artworks on view, then return to the studio to tinker with a variety of materials and create their own original pieces.
