Amalia Mesa-Bains: Archaeology of Memory
Amalia Mesa-Bains: Archaeology of Memory is the first retrospective exhibition by the pioneering artist, curator, and theorist Amalia Mesa-Bains. With works that have never been displayed together before, it explores the life and career of one of the leading figures in the Chicanx art movement. It features over 40 pieces, including the artist’s large-scale “altar installations," as well as prints, artist books, and codices.
