Jamile CD release party featuring Steve wilson
Join young jazz talent Jamile for her debut album release at Birdland Theater. The Brazilian vocalist put together an all-star band for the recording of her first album: Steve Wilson (alto sax), Ray Gallon (piano), Jay Leonhart (bass) and Vito Lesczak (drums) – the iconic band will also join the release celebration at Birdland on November 20th at 9:45 pm. Special guest Antonio Ciacca, who produced the album, will also join the concert.
The album highly showcases Jamile’s vocal capabilities without sacrificing the emotional content of the songs chosen to be part of the project. Between jazz standards and Brazilian songs, Jamile brings her all to unite both repertoires into a unique result. “If You Could See Me Now” is already available on the major streaming platforms and physical copies will be available for purchase on the release event.
