Aya Safiya is an LA-based singer-songwriter whose music “lives between the lines of genre and culture,” (Jocelle Koh, Asian Pop Weekly) and “defies standard categorization,” (Mitch Mosk, Atwood Magazine). The Bay Area-raised artist writes songs in both Japanese and English, drawing inspiration from the likes of Lana Del Rey, Feist, and The Beatles, as well as her rich background in Greek and other Near Eastern musical styles. Aya’s intimate lyrics and ethereal soundscapes create a repertoire that vividly reflects the romance, mysticism, and emotion that dominate her inner world.

Raised on the central coast of California and currently living in New York City, singer/ songwriter Elise Leavy has written more than 70 songs and has recorded two solo albums of original material, accompanying herself on accordion, guitar, and piano. She co-leads Brooklyn-based country band Lissy and the Jacks, and is a graduate of the New England Conservatory's Contemporary Improvisation Program. Elise performs as a solo artist as well as with a rotating cast of musicians in the city. She is currently in the process of recording her first full album with a band, which, with any luck, will be released in 2022.
