APRIL 2022, BROOKVILLE PARK – Braata Productions is hosting their second annual 5K Fundraiser event on Saturday, May 14th at Brookville Park Brookville Blvd, Rosedale NY 11422 (Entrance between Weller Ave & Caney Rd). Registration opens at 9 AM EST. Join runners & walkers along Braata Productions for a fun socially distanced walk/run. Entrance fee for the 5K is a $35 donation that includes a Braata 5K shirt and swagbag. Come join Braata Productions in this family fun event to raise funds to support the remainder of our season. All proceeds benefit Braata’s Arts and Education programs for NYC schools, senior centers, and community engagement projects. Fundraising committee chairwoman, Kia Jones says, “It's inherent that we move our bodies more and promote healthy bodies both inside and out. I want Braata to be an advocate for not only performing arts but also to stand for wellness. It's so important that we put ourselves first after these taxing couple of years we have had!” The organizers encourage the community to join in the fun and bring family and friends to celebrate health and wellness. Refreshments will be provided to all participants. There will also be free giveaways and entertainment. Registration fee is $35. T-shirts are included and will be provided to each participant the day of the event. All age groups are welcome.
