Art Talk and Nature Walk: Mona Chalabi with Herban Cura
Join a conversation with artist and data journalist Mona Chalabi about her outdoor installation The Gray-Green Divide. The exhibition explores environmental justice and climate change, revealing the links between income, trees, and heat in Brooklyn neighborhoods. After the talk, Antonia Estela Pérez—artist, herbalist, and co-founder of Herban Cura—leads an interactive nature walk exploring the medicinal and cultural properties of local plants and trees.
The program begins with an outdoor artist talk on the plaza steps and continues with an exploratory walk through the neighborhood. For access needs, please email [email protected]
