The Scientist Is In: Wild Horses
Join Museum Senior Curator Ross MacPhee and author Manda Kalimian to explore the world of North American wild horses.
From the evolution of the modern horse (Equus caballus) to the ways in which this species has become a companion and partner to different peoples throughout the ages, this family-friendly program will shed light on some of the hurdles surrounding rewilding horses in the US and include a special preview of Cello Comes Home, a children's book dedicated to the history and future of this species in North America.
Join the watch party on Saturday, October 16, at 10 am ET. Or view on this page at the designated time. Link coming soon.
Venue: American Museum of Natural History
