Bulgarian Ambassador Georgi Velikov Panayotov on WWII Rescue of Jews

The Bulgarians rescued ALL of the 48,000 Jews living in Bulgaria (Although Bulgaria allowed the Germans to deport about 11,000 Jews in Bulgarian occupied Macedonia and part of Rumania.) In WWII only Bulgaria and Albania ended the war with more Jews than before the war. Ambassador Georgi Velikov Panayotov will speak about the Rescue and what it is like to be a UN ambassador here in New York.
