This Zoom class will be led by The Art Hour instructor, Arlene Campa, in collaboration with Unshuttered at the J. Paul Getty Museum and Amplifier’s In Pursuit Of art contest! We will learn how to produce powerful artworks that combine strong photographic imagery and text to convey a message. All you’ll need is a digital camera or camera phone - or even an old film camera if you like! - a notepad, and a writing utensil. Students ages 13-19 and their families are welcome! Winning student submissions will be projected onto buildings in cities nationwide and featured in a special J. Paul Getty Museum exhibit in 2021! Student winners will also receive a $100 gift card to Amplifier’s online merchandise store. Registration is required to receive the Zoom code so register at https://www.thearthour.org/calendar
