Songbook Summit: The Andersons Play Armstrong
Saxophonists and clarinetists Peter & Will Anderson shine the spotlight on the life and music of the iconic trumpeter and vocalist Louis Armstrong with a historical narration, entertaining video presentation, and live performance by their six-piece ensemble featuring bassist and vocalist Vince Giordano and trumpeter Jon-Erik Kellso. One of the worlds' finest entertainers and jazz ambassadors, Louis Armstrong will be remembered for his rhythmic inventiveness, dazzling trumpet solos, and bluesy, humorous scat singing. Songs will include "Struttin' with Some Barbecue," "Potato Head Blues," "Swing That Music," and "Hello Dolly."
