National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) Sixth Annual Free Outdoor NYC Math Festival
The festival, which has math activities for audiences of all ages, will feature the Museum’s popular MoMath 2 Go exhibit with four different human-scale mazes; an opportunity to design your own roller coaster; a street-sized trip along MoMath’s ‘iconic’ number line; and a chance to take a unique kaleidoscopic selfie. Other entertainment includes a crowd-thrilling juggling demonstration with educator John Chase; and a series of fun vignettes with mathematical mimes Tim and Tanya Chartier.
MoMath will also set up a special outpost of Additions, the shop at the Museum, so attendees can easily shop for fun math-themed gifts and merchandise.
The event will be held outdoors rain or shine and no advance registration is needed.
Venue: Fosun Plaza 28 Liberty Street
