Fhitting Room’s Black History Month BeneFHIT Class
This year Fhitting Room is celebrating Black History Month by honoring inspirational Black athletes who have had a profound impact in our world and supporting philanthropic organizations created by these trailblazers and their families. Expect thematic programming, a beneFHIT class, and more!
Fhitting Room will be culminating their month-long celebrations with a virtual beneFHIT event on Saturday, 2/26 at 10AM EST. A donation will be your registration for the event. If you cannot make the event but would still like to donate, you can do so as well. 100% of proceeds will be donated to the incredible non-profit organizations associated with each of our spotlight athletes including: • Mind Leaps: Misty Copeland’s foundation creates educational paths for at-risk youth through a creative arts program. • Athletes for Hope: Funded by Muhammed Ali, their mission is to educate and inspire athletes and connect them with causes they care about. • The Women’s Sports Foundation: Allyson Felix has created The Power of She Fund to help fund child care costs for mothers who are also athletes and traveling to competitions. • The Jackie Robinson Foundation: Established by Jackie Robinson’s wife, this foundation is one of the nation’s premier scholarship and leadership development programs for minority college students.
