The popular and beautiful Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Festival returns once more to Brooklyn Botanic Garden, April 25-26. The weekend long event is a celebration of traditional and contemporary Japanese culture.
Each day has a full schedule of activities, including Taiko Drumming; a Cosplay Fashion Show; Tea Ceremonies; Samurai Sword Fighting; Manga Drawing and Manga Book Signings; Origami workshops; Kids Bonsai Workshops; all this, in addition to access to the Garden, to behold stunning views of blooming Japanese Cherry Blossoms.
Festival hours each day are from 10am-6pm. All events are rain or shine. Admission is $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and students w/ID. For more information, visit bbg.org.
