Bar Moga

At the recently opened 1920’s-style cocktail destination Bar Moga, innovative Japanese-inspired cocktails are all the rage. The house's Mystery Train cocktail offers a twist on tequila with a mix of rice shochu, tequila, vanilla, and nocino. Other staple (non-tequila based) cocktails at this glam, jazz era bar include Woman in the Dunes—a fusion of barley shochu, coffee liqueur, iron amaro, toasted almond, and heavy cream. A variety of wines and sakes are also on the menu, plus a food menu for table dining and a bar menu for casual bites. 128 W. Houston St., 929-399-5853, barmoga.com

Meatball Shop maestro Michael Chernow's beachy Nolita hang Seamore's is the perfect place to kick back with some quality tequila. This rustic, farm-inspired spot has a bold, memorable name that lures people inside, but it’s the charming gastropub’s great bites and all-new cocktail menu that keep patrons returning. Opt for the Flying High cocktail, which offers a delicate balance of subdued chamomile syrup with the bold flavor of jalapeño, some tequila, and a hint of lime and mint.
